bmwgreenAs I’m sitting here watching the Dodger game, a BMW commercial has come on advertising the Greener Days Sales Event. I wouldn’t have known this unless I had visited the website, because all I hear is blah, blah, and blah. To be honest, this particular commercial SUCKS. A. The guy on the commercial couldn’t have been casted any worse. (I hope the casting director was high when they cast him, if not, then he should be fired) B. I have NO idea what he is talking about. C. Its sooooo lame! I couldn’t find the commercial online, but its on the bmwusa.com website if you want to torture yourself. Or you should see it on your TV running currently, look out for the really boring guy holding a light bulb.

Best part about this lame commercial is that he begins by talking about how “Americans are always finding ways to be responsible” and holds an energy efficient light bulb to illustrate his point. Hooray for lowering your carbon footprint! Right!?! The next thin that follows is HUNDREDS of the bulbs illuminating to light the room! WTF??? I guess if they’re energy efficient we can use three times as many as usual. Oh BMW…you’re so responsible, and sincere.

I just watched this ad and was also confused when hundreds of light bulbs turned on for a green ad. Now I might understand if the bulbs were compact florescent bulbs, but from what I can tell they are all incandescent bulbs. This is the worst ad I have seen in some time.
