People are getting so hyped up about this where the VW account will go. I think its funny to go read on some of the websites about the predictions of where VW will go.
I think that most people will agree that recent ads by VW and Crispin have not been up to par. I vaguely remember the “drivers wanted” campaign years back from Arnold. I actually liked that campaign, but the VW ads in the past couple years have been so blah. The talking older models next to the New models, seems so played out and cheesy.
I guess we will have to see, but I think it could be great for VW. Having agencies all trying to pitch them creative new ideas will allow them to modernize the advertising. I mean it is 2009, right?
