AMP Energy has been making waves in the Southern California communities with Parties announcing their major sampling campaign “Whats Next”.  I recently just went to an AMP Energy party in Venice, and I have to say whatever they are doing is working. Lines out the door, girls everywhere, free drinks and the party was in an upscale Art Gallery. This isn’t just in So Cal either, but all over the country, and its having a major impact. I have been hearing a lot from Pepsi’s energy drink lately. Pepsi and AMP Energy have been making a push for an energy drink and for a good reason. Energy drinks have had a major impact in the drink market for the last 4 years. The energy drink business is highly competitive, generating an estimated $6.5 billion in 2008, according to Beverage Digest.
Amp currently number 4 in the Market share, but gaining momentum very quickly having a 68% increase in 2008. Watch out Rock Star, Red Bull and Monster, having the soda giant Pepsi behind AMP Energy will raise the stakes in this competitive market.
