The Good Old Days: Sexist Ads

Advertisements still continue to use stereotypes and sexism in ads. Lets admit it together we always pay attention to ads that have half naked women on it. Here are a couple vintage ads that did it best and a recent ad for BMW that still proves that sexism sells.

This looks like a makeup ad with the slogan “You know your not the first.” Uhh ok, wow, what the HELL does that have to do with BMW? I feel dirty looking at it right now. There is definitely a difference between edgy and inappropriate. But hey,  it did get my attention.
