Twitter and Facebook get voice-chat

Evolution happens in every facet of our digital lives and Twitter and Facebook are evolving as well with voice-chat services. Both are using 3rd-party solutions to offer these services. Twitter is using Jajah during it’s beta period which will allow users to speak for roughly 2 minutes (a verbal equivalent to a tweet), and Facebook is testing with Vovox, the system that has nearly 15 million users on Second Life speaking with each other. It is only a matter of time before we see video chat…
Convergence isn’t just happening with the TV and the computer but also with social networks and the way they use 3rd party communication services to increase reach amongst their users.
