Getting through the grocery line faster
Dan Meyers a math teacher has a formula that can get you through the grocery lines faster. He claims that the express lane isn’t always the fastest line in the store and what it comes down to is people rather than amount of products. His formula states that for each person you must add 48 seconds and this doesn’t consider the amount of products in their cart. While for each item only takes roughly 2.8 seconds to scan in. So don’t think that just because there’s 5 people in line with 5-10 products each are going to be faster than 1 person with 40 products in their cart!
