With HP’s Voodoo PC line of notebooks basically done, they’ve called in the help of producer Dr. Dre and music entrepreneur Jimmy Lovine to release their Limited Edition HP “Beats” notebook. Featuring a piano black, high-gloss finish with the signature “Beats” design found in the “Beats by Dre” line of headphones. Also included is Native Instruments’ Traktor LE  and Audio DJ software. So lets picture this corporate meeting…a bunch of HP executives sitting in a room wondering what they would do to jazz up sales for their high-end laptop.

“Wait I got it! If we do a collaboration with a rapper turned producer or even a big music executive, this is gonna sell more laptops!”
