The real Wall-E

In Italy this last summer some amazing little trash robots were out picking and recycling rubbish throughout the city of Peccioli. Part of the $3.9million DustBot research program, these cute Wall-E type rubbish robots cruised the city collecting and separating organic trash and recyclables. This is to show that smaller bots can do a much better job then large trash trucks while having a smaller carbon footprint. I’m down with robots, so lets get some in Venice, CA cause there’s a lot of trash about!

I DON’T THINK IT WOULD WORK IN VENICE, IT WOULD ONLY BE A QUESTION OF TIME BEFORE THEY WOULD HAVE A ACCIDENT WHERE ONE OF THESE THINGS TRY’S TO RECYCLE A HOMELESS PERSON.
